I have been silent for a long time.
Like Jacob wrestling with God, my soul was in conflict. I needed time to wrestle with the tough issues in my life.
There was a moment when I even considered giving up writing permanently.
Coming out of the dark valley however, I now know that I do not want to give up writing – it is my ministry.
I have learned much about myself during the last 6 months – I have been strengthened and refined.
God has blessed me immensely and I will live for Him. I look forward to taking up writing again and using it to reach out to those that need to hear His word.
I pray that God will use the blogs I write to touch and change the lives of those who read.
God bless you all!

For most of my life I have struggled to nail down what it is that I want to be “when I grow up”.
I’ve had many whims and ideas over the years – cop, writer, superhero, cage fighter – but it seems that I’m always thinking about money or prestige. “How much money will I make a year?” – “Will I be able to buy a big house?” – ”How famous can I become?” I do alot of thinking about what these jobs are going to do for me. I received a good amount of criticism for my previous post COEXIST? – A Destructive Delusion
Based on the comments that were made and the questions that were asked of me I have realized that the people who support COEXIST have a deeply flawed idea of truth and love.
A common question I received was: “What makes your beliefs right and everyone else’s wrong? Other people believe in their god just as much as you believe in yours.”
This question implies that belief determines truth. For example if I believe in the God of the Bible then that’s the truth for me and if someone else believes in the god of Islam, then that’s the truth for them – and we are both equally entitled to our “truths”.
That is however the very ideology that I was rejecting in my first post. Continue Reading »

We have all seen the bumper stickers – COEXIST – created from the symbols of the worlds major religions. It’s the mantra of the new unity movement, knitting together the religions as if they’re all equal and true. Coyly tossing the cross of Christianity at the end as if Jesus is one way among many; as if truth could be blended with untruth (the result of which is not an amalgam of unified truth, but pure untruth.) The only thing that makes me shake my head more than this movement is seeing a professing Christian who supports this COEXIST movement. In fact those people have some serious soul searching to do because Jesus doesn’t allow that option. Jesus doesn’t allow us to “COEXIST.” If we don’t serve Him and Him alone, we don’t serve Him at all. Continue Reading »

“Glory to God, Glory to God!”
“He died for you! Will You let Him in your heart?”
On my drive home from work I was stopped at a light about a block away from my house. Immediately I heard a voice trumpeting from the sky – “Glory to God! Glory to God!” Continue Reading »

Day after day we read comments in the news from the enemies of Israel. They spew venomous lies, hate and condemnation.
- “Israel will be destroyed”
- “Israel will be pushed into the sea”
- “Jerusalem will be a graveyard for the Jews”
- “No one will hear the cries of the Jews”
While the hatred and curses of destruction bubble up we may begin to believe that no one hear’s their cries but there is in fact one who hears their cries – YHWH God! He will not stay silent much longer but His passion for His people will be revealed and the anger in His face will rage. Continue Reading »
